Green Town Sustainable Education Programme for School Key Stage 1 and 2

School Key Stage 1 and 2 learning materiel to support the next generation to achieve major goals in reducing climate change and fuel poverty in deprived areas

Having seen the impact cold homes and climate change are having on our next generation, we have developed a Sustainable Education Programme called Green Town. The programme gives Schools in the UK learning material for Key Stage 1 and 2 children to support the next generation to achieve major goals in reducing climate change and fuel poverty in deprived areas. As part of High Aims corporate social responsibility, High Aims Ltd assists our new Community Interest Company, Achieve Your Goals and has funded the startup and development of the programme.

Alongside the sustainable learning portfolio focusing on Green Town, we have other initiatives evolving which includes;

• Sustainable community days to engage with local communities on energy efficiency and fuel poverty.
• “Game Changers” podcast.
• Sustainability corner - this includes various team building and interactive games for all ages focusing on climate change and energy efficiency.
• Sustainability job fayre – looking at bringing sustainable jobs to schools.
• Monitoring equipment to support the journey to decarbonisation.
• Providing support and assistance to any nominated Sustainability Coordinators within schools undertaking the education programme.
• Sustainable STEM classes incorporating energy, fashion, transport and agriculture.
